We do everything we can to keep your private data truly private. Of course, there are some things we need to know about you, so that we can help you as good as possible.

What are the ‘legal grounds’ for using your data?
According to privacy laws, we must specify on what legal grounds we use your data. We need data from you because of the contractual agreements between you and Leading Academy, when we have started working together on an agreement in a coaching, training or other process.
In addition, we may use your data in ‘legitimate interest’. This means that we want to provide everyone with the most optimal, personal service. We always think about your privacy. This applies to:• Evaluations of projects and workshops• Contacts in preparation and follow-up of projects• Visit of the Leading Academy website• Newsletter & e-mail• Personal advice• Social media
We may also have a legal obligation to use your data, such as the invoice records that we must keep from the IRS for 7 years. And sometimes you have given us permission to use your data, such as when you sign up for the newsletter or when you fill out a questionnaire for a course.
Who has access to your data?
We only pass on your data to other parties when it’s really necessary for our services, and that’s rare. These are mainly partners who participate on behalf of Leading Academy in a process. Parties such as data management platforms come into view as soon as we show you targeted ads, for example based on your interest in certain services. The parties who gain access to your data may only use it to provide you with a service on behalf of Leading Academy. They are responsible for obtaining and protecting your data. We never sell your data to third parties.
Content information about your journey or course will never be passed on to third parties by name, address or e-mail. For certification purposes or analyses, only anonymized data is used.
Where is your data stored?
We store your data both digitally and on paper, and always in a careful way, so out of reach for anyone who has nothing to do with it.
How long do we keep your data?
We do not store or use your data for longer than necessary. Then we delete all the data we have from you. We remove it digitally and everything we have on paper disappears into the paper shredator. What we want to use for internal analyses and reports such as re-certification within our field, we make anonymous.
• After completing a project, we will keep your data for 7 years. After that period, we will only use your data anonymously. If you want to start a journey with us again after 7 years, the world is different and it is much more interesting to hear how it is from you at that point.• From the Tax Office we have to keep our records with invoice and payment data for 7 years. After that, we only use anonymous data.
What are your rights?
You can know everything we know about you. Do you want to get free access to your personal data and receive a copy? Or do you want to change or delete your data? No problem. Let us know by mail or email. In this way, you can also object to the use of your data for marketing purposes or indicate that you believe that your privacy outweighs our interest. In that case, we will review the situation. Writing out for the inspiration email is easily done, via the link at the bottom of the inspiration email. And if you request data, of course we want to make sure that you really are you. Therefore, we may request additional information from you to establish your identity. We do the same in the case of unclear requests.
